The Bid Manager position presents an opportunity to be a part of a mission critical department in this fast-past, rapidly growing company. As a Bid Manager, you will be at the forefront of the organization with tremendous exposure and great growth potential.
Primary responsibilities include:
1. Manages all offer/bid auction activity of life settlement cases
2. Communicates and builds relationships with external bidding participants
3. Collects, analyzes, and reports on various data topics
4. Quickly, efficiently, ethically, and professionally answers bidder questions, which requires interfacing with other departments within the firm
Requirements:
1. Life insurance industry knowledge preferred
2. 4-year college degree required with emphasis in business, finance, or related field
3. Strong negotiating skills
4. Experience and passion for building long-term relationships with both internal and external contacts
5. Skilled in working within a fast paced environment under continual and multiple deadlines, maintaining professionalism under pressure
6. Superior attention to detail
7. Excellent financial and quantitative skills
8. Excellent oral and written communication skills
9. Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
10. Life Insurance license and Series 6 required to be obtained within first year of employment (company paid)
