Life Insurance Life Settlement Case Manager Needed

JOB DESCRIPTION

The primary role of the Case Manager will be as a lead member of the client services team focused on business retention and large scale growth. This person will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all activities related to case processing and case closings, e.g., the collection of documents, the ordering and/or tracking of third-party services, working with clients on obtaining additional documentation, and keeping management informed of case progress. The Case Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of service to our clients by providing timely review and response to all incoming customer requests.

- Serve as the primary contact person for day-to-day interactions with agents, brokers, providers, and funders
- Work closely with management to ensure progress and activity are thoroughly communicated to all pertinent parties
- Ordering, processing and reviewing of all underwriting requirements
- Develop a working knowledge of underwriting principles
- Ability and willingness to assist team members as needed
- Proactive contact with clients to provide the highest level of satisfaction at all times
- Ensure that all responses to clients are courteous, accurate, and thorough

QUALIFICATIONS

The successful applicant must be highly detail-oriented, self-motivated, flexible and able to adapt easily to change. Specific qualifications include:

- Life Insurance and/or life settlement experience
- Must demonstrate history of large case-load processing ability
- Minimum two years experience in broker, provider and/or life insurance carrier office
- Familiarity with the life insurance underwriting process
- Familiarity with carriers, carrier products, and underwriting guidelines
- Excellent telephone communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities, meet deadlines and take initiative to solve problems
- Must have a professional attitude and very strong organizational skills
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees
- Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel & Outlook)
